Breeder Inbox is a product developed and operated by Sema Communications Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate the breederinbox.com website and application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. You may optionally provide your name, business name, and phone number.

Connected Platform Data

When you connect third-party platforms (Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram), we access and store:

• Email messages — subject, body, sender, recipient, and timestamps for messages synced from Gmail or Outlook
• Social messages — message content, sender information, and timestamps from Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct
• Contact information — names and email addresses of people who communicate with you through connected channels
• Page information — your Facebook Page name, ID, and linked Instagram account information

Documents

Files you upload (health certificates, contracts, photos) are stored securely in our cloud storage.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the service, including your browser type, IP address, and pages visited.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Breeder Inbox service
• Display your messages from connected platforms in a unified inbox
• Enable you to reply to messages across platforms
• Store and organize your contacts and documents
• Send you service-related notifications
• Improve and develop new features

3. Data from Facebook and Instagram

We access Facebook and Instagram data solely to provide our messaging service. Specifically:

• We use pages_messaging permission to read and send messages on behalf of your Facebook Page
• We use instagram_business_manage_messages permission to read and send Instagram Direct messages for your business account
• We do not sell, share, or use your Facebook or Instagram data for advertising purposes
• We do not transfer your data to any third parties except as required to operate our service (e.g., our hosting provider)

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
• Database access is controlled by row-level security policies
• We never store your email or social media passwords

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@breederinbox.com.

When you disconnect a platform (e.g., Facebook Messenger), we delete the associated OAuth tokens immediately. Message history is retained until you delete your account.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Google APIs — Gmail and Google Calendar integration
• Microsoft Graph API — Outlook integration
• Meta Platform APIs — Facebook Messenger and Instagram messaging

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and export your data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect any connected platform at any time
• Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
